How to use Custom Code

The custom code section is a place where you can add custom styling or scripts that will run when the bar loads. It is designed to allow merchants and their developers more flexibility over the app.

If you wish to add style, you would need to use style tags:

<style>

</style>

And if you wish to add a script, you would use script tags:

<script>

</script>

You would place the tag and the content directly into the custom code box. For example, here is how you would make all the text in the message bold:

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Javascript is helpful.

You can also generate custom code using AI. Click the Generate code with AI button to open the window for the AI prompt.

You can then enter the prompt for the AI to use when generating the code, and click the Generate Code button to have the AI create the code. You can use either ChatGPT or Claude to generate the code, and can switch the model used in the dropdown at the bottom of the text box.

This is just a brief overview of what the feature is for and how it works. Please note that it is intended for merchants and their developers to have more flexibility. We do not have a customization service.
